Paintings

Carole Bullock's paintings explore the relationships between humanity, nature and the environments we inhabit. Drawing on a lifelong fascination with line, form and visual energy, her work moves between figurative and abstract expression, often revealing a dynamic interplay of light and dark, presence and absence, and positive and negative space.

The collection encompasses a diverse range of subjects, including landscapes, portraits and abstract compositions. Natural forms, human figures and expressive gestures appear throughout, often creating a sense of movement, tension and transformation. Through layered surfaces, tonal contrasts and distinctive linear forms, Bullock explores the textures, energies and connections that shape our experience of the world.

Together, these works reflect an ongoing exploration of the visual and conceptual relationships between form, space and the world around us.
